Here at Garden City Community College in Garden City, KS just did a $30,000 renovation to our indoor facility with more to come. I purchased a custom batting cage net from Pratice Sports 1 year ago. This outside net has been used by both our softball and baseball allstar teams throughout the year.(Southern California based) One year in, the net has been great with no issues. We are currently building a couple of additional cages and using Practice sports to build the nets for these cages.
This net will actually be used on an obstacle course-type triathlon I am creating people will be crawling under it! Good times.
We purchased a custom batting cage in 2009 and it has seen action daily since then. It has been a staple with my boys taking them through Little League, competitive baseball and now into high school baseball at Rancho Bernardo High School (referred to as “The Factory” in the novel Money Ball). The net, #60 nylon net, looks and has functioned great for the last 5 years with it being up all year-round in the San Diego sun. I would recommend their nets for your aspiring athlete’s development.

The batting cage is working out wonderfully! Our guys love it and use it all the time. It is functional and is a perfect fit in our Auxiliary gym, where we are one of many groups to use the space. The fact that is retracts up into the ceiling and becomes “out of sight, out of mind” makes it ideal.

Your service and attention to detail goes far beyond what you normally receive from other companys in todays market place. Also, just thought I would let you know, the hack attack is AWESOME! The girls love it! It’s a very well built, nice and compact pitching machine. Our organization has 2 Casey Pro’s and 1 Jugs Super Softball. Neither of those machines even compare to the Hack Attack Softball machine. Not to mention, I can load and unload it into the back of a Hummer H2 by myself. The girls love the full ball view that they get from the machine. The different pitches the machine can throw are wonderful and it also puts nice movement on the ball aswell when set for it. The 3 motors really does allow you to dial in alot of different varibles that you will see in game situations.
Everything went great. The crew-chief did a great job and explained all parts of the job. He was very proud of the job when finished.
I can’t say enough about the professionalism and work ethic of your installation crew. They truly represent your company in the most positive manner. The guys worked quietly until after midnight, and were back at it this morning before 730am. Their work area is clean and organized, and they have been nothing but helpful from the moment they arrived.
Working with Chad at Battingnets.com was a great experience. He was very patient with all the questions I had. Being a coach, everyone understands how hard it is to raise money to purchase anything, so after raising the money I was very cautious about ordering so much equipment. We ordered everything for an indoor hitting cage from Chad except the indoor turf (bought from local person). Only one thing I was half was disappointed in and it was the 7 x 7 L screens (econo-screens). They were not one piece and they seem to get loose after time and we must continue to tighten them up. but other than that everything went great and Chad continued to help even after the equipment was bought. We are very pleased with our equipment purchase. We constructed our batting cage in a raised area with landscaping in the yard. 53 tons of lime and a full weeks worth work we now have an awesome set up. My 14 year old daughter is a catcher so we use the cage for pitching/catching also. The batting cage gets used almost every day and many of the local girls use our setup because it is nicer than the cages at the softball fields. The setup and my daughters drive has improved her batting average tremendously.

I purchased a batting cage to put up at our house from Practice Sports. After about two weeks of use we had a few balls go through the cage. I sent pictures of the holes to Chad and he immediately reviewed with the manufacturer who determined it was a defect, and agreed to replace the net or to upgrade us to the next weight of nylon. All I had to do was return the original net and pay the difference in the two. The customer service or customer care in this case was outstanding. I would recommend Practice Sports to anyone looking for a quality product that the manufacturer will stand behind.

Very Satisfied — I purchased a custom baseball net from BattingNets.com for my teenage son. The net arrived on time as promised. When I installed the net, I realized that the additional top center rib line I ordered had not been included. I emailed BattingNets.com about the issue. By the next morning, the sales rep had contacted me both by phone and email with several options on how to fix the issue. These Nylon Flex cages are great cages with a long life expectancy due to the fact that we had them dipped as well. The Quality and workmanship is second to none. The work done at Practice Sports Inc has been of great quality. Once I gave them the layout of the area we wanted to install our batting cage in, the engineer custom made the parts to fit the cage perfectly in our gymnasium. The instructions given personally and on paper were great and we had no problems installing it ourselves. We used Practice Sports (PS) twice in the last decade for batting cages. The first project in 2015 was an all-new system, two cages about 16’ W x 26’ H x 55’L with the lifting option, and the second project in 2024 was a relocation of our cages to a new site. Both times PS delivered with a high level of service and quality, not just with the experience but with the project management and physical materials as well. Netting has held up since that original install and continues to get beat up every day. On the second project we added a large net-shield with custom graphics (about 22’ H x 63’ L) and it came out beautifully. The Rawlings-Easton Hit Lab was designed as a state-of-the-art R&D facility for the world’s foremost baseball & softball bat manufacturer, Rawlings-Easton. The facility includes an AirCage designed by Practice Sports, along with custom netting and Net Shield with custom graphics.

The Alex Gordon Training Complex was completed in the fall of 2011 at a cost of $4.75 million. The facility was specifically designed for baseball and softball and has 18,000 square feet of climate-controlled practice space that allows for working on all phases of the game. The space can be configured to utilize as many as six spacious batting cages.
The cages can also be retracted to open up all of the 120-foot by 150-foot space for live game simulation. The entire facility is netted, allowing for the Huskers to take live batting practice. The field turf surface looks and feels like real grass, and the field includes anchors to lock down bases for use during practices.
