I need to netting to protect my gym ceiling lighting from balls. Would netting work?

Hi Neil,
Thanks for inquiring about our netting. Netting can be used to protect your lights. I would need to know the size net you needed and what types of balls you needed to stop.

Thanks,
Cory

The ceiling is 52' x 84'. It will be used to stop all kinds of balls, the smallest ball would be baseballs.

Hi Neil,
You could use our standard #36 Poly Baseball Netting. Normally we recommend having about 8" to 1' of space between the net and any obstructions, but in this use I would recommend having at least 1' of space between the net and the lights since the lights can't take any hits from balls. Ideally you would want to use cable lines hanging from wall to wall to hang the net. The will reduce the sag in the net and also provide plenty of support. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Cory
