If your backboard is cracked, cloudy, or broken but the pole is still solid, the Renova42 Backboard Refurbishing Kit is your upgrade path. Instead of tearing out concrete and buying a whole new goal, you bolt on the Renova42 structure, hang a fresh 42″×72″ backboard, and get back to a clean, arena-style look.
Renova42 is designed for high-end inground adjustable systems whose original backboard was no wider than 72″ and weighed less than 215 lb. The adjustable support frame lets you re-position all four attachment points so they match the mounting plate on your existing pole, making it compatible with many popular premium goal brands.
Note: Renova42 is not for portable goals. It is intended for fixed, inground systems with a solid pole and rear mounting plate.
The retrofit support structure uses a configurable arm layout so the four mounting points can be set to the exact pattern your pole requires.
Once attached, you can fine-tune the vertical position to dial in a perfect 10′ rim height.
Because the pole stays in place, you avoid demolition, new concrete work, and long system lead times.
