Critical fall heights are measured by an independent certified laboratory according to EN 1177:2018 with a 24 mm pile height synthetic turf filled with 25 kg/m² silica sand.
Critical Fall Height is limited to 3 m, since the maximum allowed free height of fall (in Europe) is 3 meters.
ProPlay is made of closed-cell crosslinked polyethylene foams (XLPE) that were originally produced for a different purpose in various industries where quality and product performance is key. Schmitz Foam Products combines these foams into a shock pad providing the ultimate fall protection that delivers a safe and comfortable surface.
Our ProPlay shock pad is designed with an above average density and thickness. This combination is the reason our durability exceeds that of other high-end shock pads. ProPlay maintains its elastic properties for a period that exceeds the life-span of multiple synthetic turf surfaces.
The drainage capacity of our ProPlay shock pad ensures that the playground can be used in most weather conditions.
The ProPlay shock pad is part of HIC certified playground systems applied by experienced playground installers. As part of these systems our shock pad provide the ultimate fall protection that delivers a safe and comfortable surface compliant with the Head Impact Criterion (HIC).
The ProPlay sheets are easy to install in all weather conditions. Designed as puzzle-shaped sheets, installers don’t require special skills or equipment.
