GaGa is a sport for all ages and abilities similar to dodge ball. GaGa translates to “touch-touch” in Hebrew and GaGa Ball is thought to have originated in Israel. GaGa’s popularity has continued to rise in the US and is extremely popular at camps, schools and playgrounds everywhere.
APS offers three sizes of GaGa Ball Pits for indoor or outdoor use. Each kit is constructed utilizing our 12″ high playground borders connected with our proprietary stanchions specifically for our GaGa Ball Pits. Additionally, APS GaGa Ball Pits come standard with our exclusive ADA Gate for easy pit entrance and exit, as well as, ADA wheelchair accessibility.
Once installed, our GaGa Ball Pits are 28″ heigh allowing for maximum ball rebound and consistent play. Our stanchions can be permanently anchored if desired (not included) and are coated for maximum durability. Our proprietary stanchion design allows each wall of the GaGa Ball pit to be raised 4″ for easier cleaning of debris.

Gaga Ball from Practice Sports has been amazing to say the least. We are a non profit at-risk and underserved children’s camp. This was an activity recommended by the County Health Department. Some kids knew how to play, other did not. We printed out and laminated the rules from the website and counselors read them before playing. The kids absolutely love this game and it entertains for hours! It is very safe. My only regret is that I did not have enough funding to purchase the flooring kit which would only make it safer for kids hand when trying to kit the ball. Some kids have hit their hands on the black top. 100% recommend this for anyone. Fast paced and safe.

I recently purchased the APS Gaga Ball Pit with Swinging ADA Door (26′) from Practice Sports, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first call, Chad was incredibly patient and helpful, answering all my questions and ensuring I selected the right pit for our intermediate school. He even sent me a quote while we were still on the phone and let me know that if I found a lower price, they would match it – but honestly, price wasn’t my main concern. What I needed was excellent customer service, and that’s exactly what I received.
From the initial inquiry to the ordering process and delivery, everything was seamless and top-notch. We recently assembled the pit, and the kids are absolutely loving this new addition to their playground. I highly recommend Practice Sports for their outstanding service and quality products!

The official GaGa Ball pit size is 26′ x 26′, which comfortably fits up to 28 players. This is the standard size used in most schools and recreation programs.
We also offer a range of pit sizes to suit different age groups, play spaces, and budgets:
15′ x 18′ – fits up to 12 players
20′ x 22′ – fits up to 20 players
36′ x 36′ – fits up to 44 players
Each size is designed for safe, active play with durable construction.

The rules are fairly simple and offer many variations depending on age and skill level of the players, so feel free to change things up a bit!

In Hebrew, “ga” translates to “touch.”
One of the rules for GaGa Ball is that the ball must touch the ground two or three times before it is in play. Therefore, GaGa would translate to touch, touch. This is likely the reason it is called GaGa Ball, although we don’t know for a fact where the name came from.
