Rawlings-Easton Trusted Us Twice

When the World’s Top Bat Manufacturer Needs Batting Cages, They Call Practice Sports, Inc.

Rawlings Easton Hit Lab

Rawlings-Easton doesn’t settle for second-best when it comes to equipment — and that includes the cages where they test it. When they built their state-of-the-art Hit Lab, they came to Practice Sports. And when they relocated the entire facility nearly a decade later, they came back.

The Project

The Rawlings-Easton Hit Lab is a purpose-built R&D facility where the world’s foremost baseball and softball bat manufacturer tests, refines, and validates their products. It’s where bats get beaten on — every single day.

2015 — Original Installation

2024 — Facility Relocation

  • Full cage relocation to new site
  • Addition of a massive Net Shield with custom Rawlings-Easton graphics: 22′ H × 63′ L
  • Same netting from 2015 — still holding up after nearly a decade of daily use

Straight from the Engineer

“We used Practice Sports twice in the last decade for batting cages. The first project in 2015 was an all-new system — two cages about 16′ W × 26′ H × 55′ L with the lifting option — and the second project in 2024 was a relocation of our cages to a new site.

Both times PS delivered with a high level of service and quality, not just with the experience but with the project management and physical materials as well. Netting has held up since that original install and continues to get beat up every day.

On the second project we added a large Net Shield with custom graphics (about 22′ H × 63′ L) and it came out beautifully.

No doubt we will be returning to PS for any and all needs around our batting cages. Thanks Chad!”

— Nick L., Engineer, Rawlings-Easton

Why This One Matters

This isn’t a backyard cage that sees weekend use. It’s a professional R&D facility where bats meet balls thousands of times a week. The fact that our netting from 2015 is still in service — and that Rawlings-Easton came back for round two — says more than any spec sheet ever could.

When the company that makes the equipment trusts us with their equipment, that’s the kind of endorsement you can’t buy.
