Should I buy a 1- or 2-piece screen?

While there isn’t a clear answer to which type of screen is better, there are some differences to consider when shopping for screens. It’s important to decide your priorities as far as portability, durability, and cost up front to make the best decision for yourself and your players. You might also take skill level into account as younger players typically don’t hit as hard as more advanced / older players. As a general rule, 1-piece screens offer more durability, while 2-piece screens are typically easier to move and less costly.

  • Portable
  • Lower Cost

CONS

  • Less Durable
